Rootshell Launches Targeted Continuous Testing to Strengthen Security Programs

Rootshell Security Stand: 5P21

As organizations move away from annual penetration tests and toward continuous security validation, Rootshell Security has introduced Targeted Continuous Testing to help security teams focus expert testing effort where it matters most.

Traditional penetration testing provides valuable insight at a single moment in time. However, modern environments change constantly. New assets appear, vulnerabilities are disclosed weekly, and exposure can shift faster than most organizations can reassess it.

To address this challenge, Rootshell Security has expanded its Continuous Testing portfolio with the introduction of Targeted Continuous Testing, a premium service designed for organizations that require deeper assurance across critical assets, applications, and attack paths.

Targeted Continuous Testing combines ongoing platform-driven visibility with consultant-led testing focused on the areas that present the greatest risk to the organization. Rather than spreading testing effort thinly across the entire environment, Rootshell works with clients to focus advanced testing activity on high-impact systems such as customer-facing platforms, identity infrastructure, sensitive data stores, and critical business applications.

The service integrates directly with the Rootshell Platform, which centralizes vulnerability data, testing results, and third-party tool outputs into a single environment. This enables security teams to continuously monitor exposure, validate remediation, and prioritize risks based on real-world exploitability rather than static vulnerability scores.

Targeted Continuous Testing is particularly valuable for organizations building Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) programs, where ongoing validation and contextual risk prioritization are essential for maintaining an accurate view of security posture.

By combining automation, expert-led testing, and platform-based visibility, Rootshell helps organizations move beyond point-in-time security assessments toward a more proactive and measurable security program.

Visitors to Stand 5P21 at the National Cyber Security Show can learn more about how Rootshell’s continuous testing services help organizations replace fragmented security workflows and spreadsheet-driven vulnerability management with a centralized, continuously updated view of cyber risk.
