The UK relies on access to a qualified, trustworthy cyber security profession. But a lack of understanding and consistency makes building a career or hiring a qualified practitioner challenging. This, plus ever-increasing demand, has created a skills gap.
The UK Cyber Security Council connects, champions and charters the cyber security profession by introducing an easy-to-understand professional framework, being a home and liaison for the community, and promoting it to the world. As a result, they're facilitating and growing the cyber security profession in the UK.
They are an independent and impartial professional body supporting organisations and individuals to transform cyber security into a recognised and respected standalone sector and career.
